I recently gave a talk at Life Itself Research on Complexity Science and Societal Transformation.
I apply three formal modeling frameworks in complexity science - dynamical systems, agent-based models, and evolutionary game theory - to the specific question of societal transformation. In each case I show that the results help develop the idea of complexity science as a new scientific and cultural paradigm, and a new approach to social science in particular.
